It was so freaking hot out today.Well, for the Seattle area, anyway.
92 is hot for this area. Because of the heat,
we got a rare lightning storm.
Man! That stuff
is hard to capture. I just don't have
the reflexes needed.
This was the largest one i could get.
I hope it rains tonite. I tried to water
the yard.. I just evaporated.

Good images, esp. the sheet lightning. We didn't get any in Vancouver unfortunately.
Lightning is one of the things I miss about living back east. In Montreal, we'd get these monstrous thunderstorms every 2 weeks or so in the summer, with 2-3 strikes a minutes for nearly an hour. Truly breathtaking.
